About Us

We live in North Vancouver (1.5 hours away) and have been visiting Whistler for many years. Last year we stayed in a Montebello unit and it was love at first site. We bought in 2007 and it is truely our home away from home. Our young son turns 3 this fall and we are looking forward to getting him out on the slopes.

This place was a real find. It was perfect for my family (parents and 4 young adult children). It is within walking distance of the village (though if you are carrying skis then you might want to drive) and had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday - even board games to play at night. It was cozy and yet also felt spacious. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a place to stay in Whistler.

Absolutely beautiful property in a nice part of town. Perfect for our group of 6, lots of space and storage for all our kit. The house is just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Whistler and close to the local supermarket / shops. Dan is very easy to deal with and responds very quickly to any potential queries or questions.

Spacious house in a perfect location

The location of the house is perfect, less than a 10 minute walk to the village, with great views of both Blackcomb and Whistler mountain. The house is very spacious and is generally in a good condition. The kitchen is well equipped, and made eating in for breakfast an easy task. The hot tub seemed fairly new and was great for relaxing in, although a couple of the boards around the hot tub were a little wobbly, so we had to take care when getting in and out.

When we first arrived (in 30c heat) the air conditioning was not working, however after emailing Dan a technician came and fixed it within 48 hours and it then worked fine after that.

This is a nice house, that offers so much more space than a hotel or condo. It is on a fairly quiet development, we were in Whistler during Crankworx, and we never had any issues with noise.

Thanks Dan for letting us stay in your home, we'll be back in 2017.

This condo is absolutely lovely and is in a perfect location - quiet, with beautiful views, yet only a 5 minute leisurely walk to Whistler Village centre. Our extended family, six of us, stayed at this Whistler townhouse for Thanksgiving weekend and everyone greatly enjoyed the accommodations. The home is in a complex literally five minutes walk to Whistler upper village and was very quiet with lots of parking. There is wonderful views of both mountains from the main living areas.

The living room has lots of games for the whole family, a wonderful gas fireplace and lots of seating. Good internet. The kitchen has excellent appliances, we cooked a big thanksgiving dinner no problem. The beds are very comfortable and the there were lots of towels.

Everything was in good condition and very clean. It was an easy home to relax in and enjoy, roomy and welcoming. I highly recommend it and would love to return soon. The owner was helpful when contacted. Thank You!

Very happy with the condo. We had a great stay in Whistler despite it being an "off" year for skiing. The condo was very clean and well appointed. This was our third stay in Montebello, the first at this specific property.

I'ts a beautiful house in all ways, everything is super comfortable, the baths are great with the heated floor, the beds are great and the common areas are well adapted, the fireplace makes the house warm all the time, and the hot tub is great for finishing the day and relax after skiing. It's close to town and both mountains so you can get very easily to every place. !!Everything was perfect!!

I would recommend to put more photos in the web page so the people interested can actually get more details of the place because actually we liked it even more when we got there than in the photos.

Incredible Whistler family home!

My family of six had one of our most relaxing vacations ever in Dan and Karen's Whistler home. It was for a much needed break over Thanksgiving, and it couldn't have gone any better. The thing that really makes the home stand out is the quality and attention to detail that makes it feel like a home versus a rental. It was built and decorated by someone as their own home where they want to live. This stands out in details like the heated tile floors, high quality mattresses and linens, premium washing detergents in the laundry and kitchen, the espresso maker, the spice rack, natural wood blinds covering the vast windows, etc. These, and other examples, are things you just don't find in most rentals. The location is great. It's a short walk to the the village, and just as short of a walk to Nester's Marketplace, which was great for buying supplies to cook large meals in the kitchen at a reasonable price. We never took the car out of the private garage. The view from the patio and hot tub are great as well. I already miss staring at the lit up ski runs under a full moon in the perfectly heated hot tub despite 20 degree weather. We've been to Whistler many times, but on this trip we barely left the unit at all. Everyone just loved being in there. It was wonderful. Thank you, Dan and Karen!

Great home, everything was better than expected, we had a great time! This was a perfect place for us to stay. With two teenangers, the extra space of having a house was ideal, and having some outdoor space was great for them. The unit is at the end of the road which was really good for us and we had checked on Google street view so we knew how to find it. Just 5 minutes' walk from the Village along well-lit pavement, and without the busy-ness of the centre. Parking at the door. All the home comforts and finished to a very high standard. We couldn't get the WiFi to work, which also restricted the TV stations available, but even that didn't seem to matter. Views from the Hot Tub and patio of the Mountains and sunsets. Loads to do in Whistler & the lakes in the Summer, though it can all be a bit expensive. Key access didn't work until a bit after check-in time (it is a pre-programmed entry number) and we couldn't get through to anyone to help, which was a bit of a pain after a long drive and we were a bit worried. After that hiccup, the entry system meant we didn't have to carry keys around (helpful when you are doing lots of activities and there are several members of the group). We had a terrific holiday.

Fantastic long weekend of relaxation and winter fun.

We had a great experience booking with Dan and appreciated his hospitality. We had a wonderful stay in this amazing townhouse. It was very comfortable and we felt right at home. Fabulous mountain views and all the nessecities. Great location for the village, close for walking but just out of range for a nice quiet evening without the night life outside our door. The private hot tub was a great way to unwind and sitting by the fire reading was our favorite time spent. We hope to rent the home again soon.

We had a wonderful week at Dan and Karen's home. It was a pleasure to work with Dan during the rental process. He was attentive to my emails with questions about the set up and location. The home is exactly as represented, so there are no suprises. It is extremely well-equipped, especially the kitchen area. There are plenty of dishes and utensils to facilitate cooking in. The location, set up, and amenities were great for us (5 adults). It's far enough from the village, so that you're not in the crowds, but walkable to everything. The views from the home are outstanding. If we come back to Whistler, we would definitely rent this home again!

This home was just as perfect as promised. Very well maintained, comfortable, great location, great views, and very accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the kitchen supplies we needed to create homecooked meals. When we wanted to eat out, the great restaurants were just a few minutes away! This home is conveniently located just minutes away from the village where there is great shopping, food and skiing/snowboarding fun! Dan Bozic provided our group a beautiful home and a great experience. It was our first visit to Whistler all the way from Hawaii. We loved it so much and can't wait to come back! We will definitely stay at the Bozic's the next time we plan a trip up!

The Montebello condominium is a first class rental unit. All the amenities are provided including private hot tub, kitchen utensils, wonderful beds, linens, high end appliances, gas grill, and more. We are a family of 5 and felt very comfortable with a tv in each bedroom so everyone had their own space when we weren't skiing. The view of both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains was spectacular. We walked to Whistler Village each night. Dan was so easy to work with. This was our 6th year vacationing in Whistler and was by far, the nicest place we stayed. Would definitely look to book again.

The home in Whistler was fantastic. My husband and I rented the townhouse to enjoy a week in the mountains. My husband travels a great deal for work so we like to stay in houses (as opposed to corporate hotels) when we go away for leisure. The Bozic's townhome was fantastic. We loved the views out the windows, the heated floors were nice when we had a couple of days that were rainy, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We also enjoyed playing some of the games they keep next to their fireplace. If you are considering staying here with other couples, the home is great in the sense that there is a bathroom connected to, or next to, every bedroom. If we ever visit Whistler again, we will be sure to try to rent this townhouse again - it was an oasis!

I have being staying in Dan's unit with my family for a number of years. Like all of Montebello the unit is very nice, however this one is particularly well maintained. Dan is very accomodating, I try to stay here whenever I am in Whistler.

The home is very well organised and equipped. Two families very easily accommodated with ample "space" for all. Loved sitting in hottub watching skiers, sunsets, starts and even fireworks on Sunday eve!! Spectacular weather meant great Bbq's and enjoyment of the outdoor space in early spring! Would love to come back!

Ideal Whistler Retreat

Our group of 6 enjoy an annual getaway in Whistler each year with the Montebello properties being our first choice in rental developments. The complex is surprisingly quiet during the evenings and is only a short walk to the village. We have stayed in several of the units in previous years but this one is definitely our new favourite. The privacy of the corner unit along with the extra yard space is a real treat...and the excellent view of the surrounding mountains from the backyard area doesn't hurt either. We were very pleased to see that the unit had a high standard of cleanliness and was very well kept. The owner was easy to contact and took care of all of our needs prior to our arrival which was sincerely appreciated. We would highly recommend this beautiful townhome to anyone looking for a great vacation spot.

Superb Quiet Family Location

We stayed in this unit, having stayed in a number of other Montebello units, around President's Week. This unit has one of the best views of the Montebello development. The availability of a bbq is also a very nice touch of this particular space. As with most of the Montebello properties, the finishing standards and ammenities are very high. The owner personally addressed the sole issue we had, which was very much appreciated. Communication was easy and very pleasant. The Montebello development generally is a great spot to travel with a family. It is a comfortable wallk into the village, even with small child, and an easy (although lengthy, in ski boots) walk to the gondolas. It is quiet at night (unlike the being in the village proper), and there is enough green space in the complex to play outside. Private hot tubs are a particularly nice feature. I would, and will, stay in the particular unit again. It is ideally suited to two couples with children, or a family and grandparents, which was our arrangement.

This was a great condo for our Whistler family holiday. It was very well appointed, nice and clean, great layout, very comfortable and our adult kids loved the hot-tub. Our only complaint was that we had trouble regulating the heat/cold at night which was a problem . . . Bot otherwise . . loved it!!
