We live in North Vancouver (1.5 hours away) and have been visiting Whistler for many years. Last year we stayed in a Montebello unit and it was love at first site. We bought in 2007 and it is truely our home away from home. Our young son turns 3 this fall and we are looking forward to getting him out on the slopes.
We had a great experience booking with Dan and appreciated his hospitality. We had a wonderful stay in this amazing townhouse. It was very comfortable and we felt right at home. Fabulous mountain views and all the nessecities. Great location for the village, close for walking but just out of range for a nice quiet evening without the night life outside our door. The private hot tub was a great way to unwind and sitting by the fire reading was our favorite time spent. We hope to rent the home again soon.
The accommodations were well suited for our extended family of seven, four adults and children ages 8, 6, and 2. The location of Montebello and especially unit 4712 was somewhat secluded yet close to many favorite activities. The high end appliances in the kitchen were enjoyable to use for meal preparation. This unit offered terrific views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. This stylish and well-maintained unit was spacious and enhanced our vacation experience in the Whistler, British Columbia setting.
We had a wonderful week at Dan and Karen's home. It was a pleasure to work with Dan during the rental process. He was attentive to my emails with questions about the set up and location. The home is exactly as represented, so there are no suprises. It is extremely well-equipped, especially the kitchen area. There are plenty of dishes and utensils to facilitate cooking in. The location, set up, and amenities were great for us (5 adults). It's far enough from the village, so that you're not in the crowds, but walkable to everything. The views from the home are outstanding. If we come back to Whistler, we would definitely rent this home again!
This home was just as perfect as promised. Very well maintained, comfortable, great location, great views, and very accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the kitchen supplies we needed to create homecooked meals. When we wanted to eat out, the great restaurants were just a few minutes away! This home is conveniently located just minutes away from the village where there is great shopping, food and skiing/snowboarding fun! Dan Bozic provided our group a beautiful home and a great experience. It was our first visit to Whistler all the way from Hawaii. We loved it so much and can't wait to come back! We will definitely stay at the Bozic's the next time we plan a trip up!
The Montebello condominium is a first class rental unit. All the amenities are provided including private hot tub, kitchen utensils, wonderful beds, linens, high end appliances, gas grill, and more. We are a family of 5 and felt very comfortable with a tv in each bedroom so everyone had their own space when we weren't skiing. The view of both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains was spectacular. We walked to Whistler Village each night. Dan was so easy to work with. This was our 6th year vacationing in Whistler and was by far, the nicest place we stayed. Would definitely look to book again.
The home in Whistler was fantastic. My husband and I rented the townhouse to enjoy a week in the mountains. My husband travels a great deal for work so we like to stay in houses (as opposed to corporate hotels) when we go away for leisure. The Bozic's townhome was fantastic. We loved the views out the windows, the heated floors were nice when we had a couple of days that were rainy, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We also enjoyed playing some of the games they keep next to their fireplace. If you are considering staying here with other couples, the home is great in the sense that there is a bathroom connected to, or next to, every bedroom. If we ever visit Whistler again, we will be sure to try to rent this townhouse again - it was an oasis!
I have being staying in Dan's unit with my family for a number of years. Like all of Montebello the unit is very nice, however this one is particularly well maintained. Dan is very accomodating, I try to stay here whenever I am in Whistler.
The home is very well organised and equipped. Two families very easily accommodated with ample "space" for all. Loved sitting in hottub watching skiers, sunsets, starts and even fireworks on Sunday eve!! Spectacular weather meant great Bbq's and enjoyment of the outdoor space in early spring! Would love to come back!
Our group of 6 enjoy an annual getaway in Whistler each year with the Montebello properties being our first choice in rental developments. The complex is surprisingly quiet during the evenings and is only a short walk to the village. We have stayed in several of the units in previous years but this one is definitely our new favourite. The privacy of the corner unit along with the extra yard space is a real treat...and the excellent view of the surrounding mountains from the backyard area doesn't hurt either. We were very pleased to see that the unit had a high standard of cleanliness and was very well kept. The owner was easy to contact and took care of all of our needs prior to our arrival which was sincerely appreciated. We would highly recommend this beautiful townhome to anyone looking for a great vacation spot.
We stayed in this unit, having stayed in a number of other Montebello units, around President's Week. This unit has one of the best views of the Montebello development. The availability of a bbq is also a very nice touch of this particular space. As with most of the Montebello properties, the finishing standards and ammenities are very high. The owner personally addressed the sole issue we had, which was very much appreciated. Communication was easy and very pleasant. The Montebello development generally is a great spot to travel with a family. It is a comfortable wallk into the village, even with small child, and an easy (although lengthy, in ski boots) walk to the gondolas. It is quiet at night (unlike the being in the village proper), and there is enough green space in the complex to play outside. Private hot tubs are a particularly nice feature. I would, and will, stay in the particular unit again. It is ideally suited to two couples with children, or a family and grandparents, which was our arrangement.
This was a great condo for our Whistler family holiday. It was very well appointed, nice and clean, great layout, very comfortable and our adult kids loved the hot-tub. Our only complaint was that we had trouble regulating the heat/cold at night which was a problem . . . Bot otherwise . . loved it!!
