Suitability & Eligibility Policies

The member of the party who is making the reservation must be at least 25 years of age with a valid credit card and will be held responsible for the rest of the group. We reserve the right to ask for ID when you check in to ensure that the age requirement has been met. Any reservation made under false pretences will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, and the party will not be permitted to check in and/or the party will be required to vacate the property. All additional charges and payment will be the responsibility of the client should they need to move to another property.|
|Non-Smokers Only||Absolutely no smoking in unit. If smoking occurs in the unit an additional $250 cleaning/aerating fee will be charged to your credit card.|

Reservation & Cancellation Policies
|Arrival Days||Guests may make reservations any day of the week.|
|Cancellations Made by Guests||Deposit payment non-refundable. Balance of payment is refundable, less 5% transaction fees, if booking is cancelled 60 days or greater in advance. Reservations cancelled 59 days or less in advance are refunded only if we replace your booking. These refunds are issued the first day of your (cancelled) arrival where applicable.|
|Courtesy Hold Reservations||Reservations are not held without payment. Please confirm your reservation by clicking Reserve Now. Our site takes live reservations 24hrs/day/7 days/week, therefore, we operate on a first come/first serve basis|
|Delayed Arrivals||No refunds. Refunds are not provided for arrival delays. 3rd party travel insurance is recommended|
|Delivery of Instructions and Access Information||E-mailed upon receipt of balance of payment. Access codes are air mailed with your receipt for payment at least 2 weeks before your arrival date.|
|Guest Account Termination||The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site|
|Guest Stay Contract||When a booking is made online, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment, you agree to follow all policies and pay for any damages and/or missing items|
|Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal||The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses|
|Late Reservation Payments||Failure to pay by due dates will result in automatic cancellation. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged.|

|Reservation Changes||Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit calculated on the original amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance, then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation|
Guest Stay Policies
|Bike Storage||Bikes must not be taken into our elevators or apartment or stored on the balcony. A locked bike storage cage is available in the parking garage for use by all apartments in our development. Bikes may be secured to racks installed in the cage but you will need to provide your own locking equipment.|
|Check-In Time||4:00 pm,. An earlier check-in may be possible if we are not booked the night before - please check with us 1 or 2 days before your arrival date|
|Check-Out Time||10:00 am. A additional $50 charge will occur if cleaners arrive and room is not vacated .|
|Complaints Concerning Property||Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Cleaning Costs||Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their credit card upon departure in the event of excessive cleaning costs.|
|Excessive Noise||The Alpenglow is a family-oriented, quiet development. Noise complaints may result in eviction by local police or security personnel. Disturbing neighboring residents is prohibited.Guests will also be evicted from the premise by the strata security company.|
|Garbage Removal||Please ensure all garbage is removed when you check out. Remove all garbage to the garbage room located in the parking garage|
|Housekeeping||Cleaning service will clean unit upon departure. Additional cleaning may be scheduled at the guest's request and expense.|
|Internet Availability & Usage||Wireless Internet is available from a 3rd party provider at a nominal fee.|
|Liability||We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on the property, in the unit or at any location in Whistler Resort.|
|Locking Door||Please keep the doors and windows locked while out of the unit. You are responsible for ensuring our property is secure when you check out.|
|Maintenance Emergencies||24 hr service . Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests.|
|Maximum Sleeping Capacity||3/4. Comfortably sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Excess occupants will result in eviction.|
|Missing Items||Guests authorize the cost of any missing items on their credit card.|
|Noise Restrictions||Building Restrictions.|
|Parking & Ticketing||Pay Parking. A parking fee of $15 per day is charged for use of the secured parking garage.|
|Property Damage||Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their credit card upon departure in the event of property damage. |Rental Accommodation Zoning||Our property is legally zoned for short term rental accommodation use.|
|Terms of Eviction||Smoking, excessive noise, threat of common or private property damage, disturbing the peace; excess of 4 overnight occupants without our permission. You will be evicted for excessive noise, property damage or disturbing the peace or more than 3 adults sleeping in the unit|
|My Web Site Guarantee||I guarantee that I will honour all rates posted on my web site at the time that your reservation request is submitted. If any amenity changes after you have confirmed your booking with payment, I will notify you in advance and give you an opportunity to cancel with a full refund.|
|Reservation Guarantee||Property Damage - We relocate you to a comparable property. If there are any rate increases associated with the move, we will contribute up to $100 CAD per night towards rate equalization. If we fail to successfully relocate you, you will receive a full refund. Boarded for 3 weeks between Dec and Jan of 2016 and can confidently say the experience had at the Aplenglow was one of the best.
Great location – 5 minute walk to both the Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas, 1 minute to the main IGA and 2 minutes to the pubs and clubs.
The Aplenglow has also got great facilitates – Pool, spa, Sauna and washers/dryers.
Dan and the Aplenglow staff were very helpful – would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Great. Clean and well maintained. Minor issues:- for a longer stay the storage space is quite limited and the fridge is lacking an ice box. Clean, conveniently located but not for a family

Overall, the unit met my needs, but there were a few things I would address. The unit was clean and the kitchen well stocked. There was NO freezer in the fridge, and this was not mentioned in the ad. There is no storage for food or clothing. Although well equipped, there was nowhere to put your food. Hangers provided in the closet, but there is not a dresser or shelving for clothes. I had to live out of my suitcase which would not be ideal for a long stay. If you face the street, which this unit did, then it will be noisey! I expected some noise from the after hour crowd, but didn't think about the constant traffic noise (including delivery trucks pulling up very early in the a.m.) to the 7-eleven across the street. Using the air conditioner to block the noise was a great idea, but you can run it all night as it blows directly in your face, at the head of the bed. The pull out foam couch doesn't work unless you pull the table and chairs out of the way and then you can't get past it without crawling over it to get to the bathroom. I would not recommend this room for more than one (maybe two) adults. The owner was very good in keeping in touch prior to my holiday, but didn't hear from him when I arrived or during my stay, which is maybe not such a bad thing as I really had no major issues. Sorry, but I think you have to be honest and I really can't see a family staying in this room.View Full Review

This suite was perfect for our needs while we attended Whistler's Wanderlust Festival(5 day yoga festival). It was close to all the yoga venues and the Olympic Plaza. It had all the necessities for doing our own cooking, but it did lack a freezer as the fridge was quite small and was not equipped for frozen foods. This apartment had everything you could wish for during your stay in Whistler. Not only that, it was a fantastic location, just out of the noisy centre (but within walking distance) and very close to a big supermarket. From the moment we booked, Dan was fantastic in terms of communication and once we were there, when we had a problem with getting the fire on, he sent someone round straight away to help. I wouldn't hesitate in stayin here again, it was simply fantastic.

Very conveniently situated in town, just a couple minutes , actually , only cross the street is the whole village; shops, caffes, restaurants, only few minutes to a gondola and snow fields. Plenty of snow and variety of long runs for snowboarder and skiers. Good transport for those who don't want to walk. Apartment was fabulous; bed comfortable, big bathroom and well lit. Great view from a balcony. Had a wonderful stay for 28 nights and would return again. Most loved the closeness to the mountain, skiing has been fantastic!!!

Our stay was great! The place was smaller than anticipated from the rental ad but it was suitable. After all, we came to ski and after 7-8 hrs of powder skiing everyday all that was needed was hot food and a good drink so the small room was actually kind-of cozy and fun. We were to tired to move very far anyway. The kitchen was nice and fully equipped with everything needed to make dinners. The surroundings were very quiet so we got plenty of sleep. We really enjoyed the walk to the lifts. It was not too far but far enough to stretch the legs first thing in the morning. All in all, a good value find for a cozy stay and cost effective dining. I was a bit surprised that we had to pay for parking and I think it would have been nice to know this upfront as we were on a tight budget. I would recommend this for couples who are serious skiers on a budget or a romantic getaway on a budget. I plan on staying here again.

The apartment was neat and well kept when I arrived. It was excellent and exactly the kind of accomodation i needed for my biking holiday. The TV did not have any reception but this was not a huge issue for me so i just left it.
