From the elegant and modern décor to the quality finishing, The Timbers amenities and special features are unparalleled. Our home has a few special entertainment system upgrades. First the Harmon Kardon stereo sound system with volume controlled speakers throughout the house. Secondly, the 50" Plasma TV with surround sound, 42" Plasma TV in the Master bedroom and 20" LCD TVs in second and third bedroom. All bedrooms are equipped with DVD players. Unlike most of the other suites in the building, we offer the extra convenience of 2 assigned parking stalls and 2 secure ski lockers.
Unlike other homes in the building, our extensive entertainment system adds to the enjoyment of your stay. We've added a Harmon Kardon stereo system with CD player and individually controlled speakers in each room including the hot tub area. There is a 50" Plasma TV with HDTV, Movies on Demand and surround sound in the living room, and TV's, DVD player in all bedrooms (40" Plasma TV in the Master Bedroom).

We had a fantastic stay at The Timbers. It was warm, clean, spacious, extremely well equipped and in an excellent location. The beds were very comfy too! Wendy, the rental manager was very responsive and easy to deal with and when I had a couple of issues with the combination door lock not working she had it seen to very quickly. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely rent this apartment again. The only thing that could have improved our experience is that my kids said that while ping pong and pool equipment was provided there was no equipment (paddles etc) to play air hockey or shuffleboard in the games room so it would have been nice if they could have enjoyed all the games there. This was an excellent condo to stay in. The ski in / ski out works better here than most places - out the door and down to the gondola which goes to the village and central lifts, quick and easy. Equally as easy coming back in. The electronic keypads on almost every door worked really well, except a key was needed to access the building when skiing back in. Ski lockers were great, except some kind of drainage is needed, as your equipment sits in the water from the melted snow in the bottom of the lockers.
The condo itself was quite exceptional. The photos and description on the website were very accurate. It is large, well appointed and quite comfortable. The kitchen, although very nice, lacks counter space and just space in general for more than one person to work in, but not a major issue. The middle bedroom has been converted from the den, so there is no closet. And more pegs or hooks in the entrance to hank ski clothes would be an improvement. Again, not a major issue.
The bathrooms, although very nice, are quite dark and almost gloomy - a little difficult shaving. The dining area is also quite dim - nice for intimate dining but difficult for playing cards or games. They talk about the built in sound system, but it is locked up and not accessible. We had three couples and a toddler, and there was more than enough room and dishes and cookware and everything we needed.
There was a minor issue with the fridge, and the management company responded promptly. There were a few additional very minor issues, which the management company has passed on to the owners, and I am sure they will be corrected before the next renter arrives. The BBQ and hot tub were great.

We had a fantastic time with our family at this rental. It is in the perfect location with easy ski in/ski out access, and the games room downstairs was a hit with the kids. The steep slope getting out of the parking garage with our rental van was a challenge though due to ice.

I would have liked more light in the ensuite. The lighting is very dim and hard to see. Just even higher voltage light globes might be what is needed
