As you enter the condo you are in a wide, warm hall. There is a small bench and coat hooks for your outerware, shoes, etc. The kitchen, dining, and living areas are a large, connected common area. The kitchen is separated by a counter/bar. The living room has a clean burning gas fireplace that is controlled by a timer on the wall. We also have a Large Screen HiDef TV and DVD as well as a TV in the Master. The main bath is located off the hall as you enter and there is a private master suite bath with a soaking tub off the master bedroom. The balcony off the living room overlooks the gazebo on the Village Stroll and looks to the Wizard chair and Gondola on Blackcomb mountain.

We (my wife, Marni and I) live in Seattle with our two girls, ages 16 and 13. We enjoy the outdoors and the year round activities that Whistler has to offer including skiing, tubing, biking, hiking, walking, zip lines, ropes courses, white water rafting, golfing and more. The beautiful drive up the Sea to Sky Highways is always a treat with the views of Horseshoe Bay and Mountains along the way.
Being able to walk to the gondola and having a central location in the village we never feel like we are missing out on any of the fun that Whistler has to offer.

The location was perfect - wish the balcony was large enough for chairs and a BBQ, but that's no fault of the owners. Although, I was surprised that for a 6 night stay, there was only one, very small, bottle of shampoo and one tiny piece of soap in each bathroom. Additionally, the washing machine deposited a grey substance on many of our clothing items, we were able to rinse-out this grey stuff, but it happened each time we washed our riding clothes - perhaps the washer needs a thorough cleaning?View Full Review Owner Has Responded

I agree with the other reviewers in that the unit is located above a noisy restaurant. I called to report a dog barking for 45 mins at 1:30 in the morning. I could hear someone come to address the dog, but the loud noises went on until 4:30 in the morning. Although the rest of the nights weren't as bad, it was quite noisy if you are trying to sleep.
I chose to keep windows open as there was only an air conditioner in the other bedroom. The rest of the benefits of the location and amenities far outweighed this minor nuisance.View Full Review Owner Has Responded

This 2 bedroom condo has good space and is conveniently located in the centre of the Village North. The only downside is you are above a restaurant that is very popular, as it serves all meals for $4.95. The catch is that people drink and get loud and I'm a light sleeper, so I had a hard time between the hours of 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.View Full Review

Great central location! Fast response from owners, concierge was helpful in parking and bike locker directions. Quite noisy at night with the buzz from the village but that is to be expected, but when there is no AC the windows needed to be kept open. Would suggest notifying that there is no AC in the unit. Some insect screens would have helped as we needed to keep the balcony slider open to bring in some fresh air but the flies kept flying in.View Full Review

We loved our stay, with the unit being in an excellent location and having all the amenities we required. There are good (and cheap) eating facilities right downstairs as well as within a very short walk which make it very convenient. Great Location! Convenient to grocery shopping, restaurants, shopping, gondolas, the library, and the Ironman venue. The only complaint was being above the El Furniture Warehouse Restaurant and Bar, after 10pm there was a lot of street noise. Ironically, there is a sticker on the sliding glass door telling the occupants to keep the noise down after 10pm, but loud music and loud patrons would continue on until 2pm. Normally, this is great, but the nights leading up to the Ironman competition, not so much. Earplugs recommended. Also, the wireless internet would not always be consistent and frequently booted our iDevices off.View Full Review
