I booked this place to stay in with 8 other adults, all attending an event. Overall this condo worked well for our purposes. Booking was very easy, and we had no troubles cheking in or checking out. The owners ensured that we had propane for our planned BBQ, which was helpful. It had sufficient amenities, and housed us easily. I would recommend this stay if you are looking for a well priced place with excellent location, and don't plan to spend a lot of time around the condo. Most aspects of the condo were in good shape, the kitchen, the bathrooms etc. However, it is in need of a very deep cleaning. The main spaces have obviously been surface cleaned, but if you look under couches/beds, or in corners it was quite dirty. Also the hot tub is not being serviced properly. Most of the jets don't work, the filters were majorly gunked up, and there was no chlorine in the water. Although chlorine was added after we called maintenance, I don't believe it is being regularly maintained properly. Overall we were satisfied with our stay, and I may book again in the future. But don't expect a 5 or 4 star luxury stay.View Full Review

Susan; Overall we had an enjoyable stay at your Lagoons property. Here are few issues that I am sure you would like to know about: Lamps were missing bulbs; bath exhaust fan grille was sitting on the toilet seat; all dishes and utensils had dried food on them as well as the pots and pans; only 3 small bowls for a property that will accommodate 9; only 4 chairs for the dining table for a 3 bedroom unit; pump 2 on hot tub not functional so most of the jets will not work; bathtub drain in master bath very slow; fireplace stopped working. We had previously stayed at the Lagoon's in 1999 and at several other Whistler properties over the past 15 years and can only give your property an acceptable rating compared to our previous stays. Please speak with your property management service to make sure the next guest can give a more favorable rating. And by the way we accidently took the garage proximity key. We were very disappointed by the condition of the condo. When we,arrived two toilets were blocked and a broken burner on the oven in the kitchen needed attention from maintenance. In addition we noted several issues in the condo including but not limited to rusting paint cans in the closet, a broken head board in the master bedroom, mold in the shower and tub, a rotting floor in the kitchen, exposed wires in the living room, out of order electrical socket in the dining room, burnt out light bulbs throughout the condo, and used up carpets.
We contacted the owners re a refund and they offered a free night in,the future. Before renting, I recommend that potential renters ensure that long, overdue cyclical maintenance have been performed.View Full Review

The unit was fantastic as it had all the amenities I would have in my own home. The weather in Whistler was snowy and great and the unit with it warm beds, full kitchen facilities allowed us to do our cooking inc our Christmas dinner made it more lovely. It must have been lived in by the owner Susan as all the little things making it a home were there - DVD, TV in bedroom, board games, BBQ and hot tub. The wifi was great and my family of six adults could not have enjoyed more the beauty of Whistler in winter and the very homely unit. The convenience of a nearby supermarket and closeness of Whistler Village, the skiing and frozen Lost Lake added to our pleasure. My thanks to Susan for making a great Whistler holiday for my family.View Full Review

We had a wonderful 5-day escape to Whistler. The owner was helpful and prompt leading up to our departure. Easy check-in, a door-code and detailed email instructions! Loved the layout of the home: coat room downstairs with a heater, full kitchen and dining/living area with a great barbeque deck, and the three bedrooms upstairs. We will miss that hot tub immensely! A bit low on towels but that's what the washer/dryer is for! Amazing location, just close enough to the village (easy jaunt to IGA) but far away enough from the hustle bustle. The unit is at the back of the complex and so you can hear highway noise when you're outside in the hot tub, but other than that, it is a very quiet complex whose tenants "mostly" abide by the 10pm-8am quiet hours. We tried to treat this home as if it were our own, though some previous renters have not (some warped cookware, broken chairs on the deck and breaking the front-hall closet door) we can't say enough nice things about this spot, it's such a cozy gem! Would choose this over a hotel every time. Hope to return soon!
Great Condo, Great Location

With three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and three private decks, this condo has plenty of room yet feels cozy. Very functional kitchen and dining area allows for easy meal prep so you don't have to eat out every night, unless you want to. Washer/dryer is great longer stays. Intimate, private hot tub on top level perfect for apres. Free Marketplace Shuttle right across the street takes you to lifts while grocery, liquor, pharmacy are all less than a five minute walk away. Add to that the fact that the owners are a dream to work with and you'll know why we return to #54 Stoney Creek Lagoons year after year. Highly recommended.
Large and convenient

We stayed in the unit with 7 adults, and having three showers really helps prevent backups. The living room was rather spacious for a Whistler condo. It's a good unit for groups that intend to prepare a lot of common meals in the unit. The unit is about as far from the lifts as you can get while still in the main village, but you only make that trip twice a day. Some of us checked our skis at Summit Sports in the gondola plaza to avoid lugging those back and forth. It's quite convenient for shopping though, with the Marketplace IGa, BC Liquor, Mt Currie Coffee and Pure Bread a 2 minute walk away. The common shower downstairs is a little tight, which could pose a problem for those of above average girth. The upstairs bunkroom is also on the small side with no storage. It could accommodate two adults in a pinch, but it wouldn't be very comfortable. Most of the beds seemed decent. The bath fixtures are nicer than usual. The kitchen was quite usable. There was plenty of guest parking available in the parking garage in addition to the reserved spot. All in all a rather nice unit, above average for convenience and general attractiveness.

Great condo for group visit to Whistler

We brought a group of 8 to Whistler for 4 nights in this condo. It was fantastic having beds for everyone and there was plenty of bedding. The location of this unit is awesome, right across the street from the free shuttle to the lifts and a very quick walk to the grocery store and liquor store. Kitchen had everything we needed for preparing basic breakfast before hitting the slopes and then snacks/cocktails. Wifi was nice to have and worked great for us. Parking was also very easy for us plus one guest car. Unfortunately the hot tub broke during our stay which was really disappointing. No luck getting anyone to come fix it during the rest of our stay. It was definitely in need of a deep clean/chlorine. It would also be nice to have another set of towels for the hot tub. But the price was good and Susan was very helpful leading up to the trip confirming all our details.

We had a group coming in for 4 nights. There was more than enough room with the 3 bedrooms and the bathrooms. The hot tub was nice and secluded from other units as it backs up against the trees. The location is great as the parking is easy and you are right across from the village without paying 'in village' prices. All in all a great stay and we would definitely recommend the place.

there was 6 of us and we had a great time. the appartment is really nice. well located and has everything you need. the hot tub could use a little of maintenance, and it is off the main bedroom, so people has to go across the main bedroom, otherwise the place has everything you need. we had an small leak and the maintenance person was there very quick and very friendly. Internet conection wasn't great, but is included. there is a very convinient public free shuttle across the road so you do not have to walk to the ski lifts. Going for dinner to town the walk was really nice.

First thing i will say is that Susan was really nice and was easy to get into contact with. The main issue we had was parking. Might not be a problem for most but I have a larger truck and it would not fit in the underground garage provided. I then had to frantically search for a spot to park. It cost me $30 a day to park my truck at a different location down the street. I even talked to a guy with an SUV that had to remove his storage box off the top to park. Again no big deal for most but it sure sucked not to have any warning or at least a backup in place. I really think there should be a height limit note on the website to clear up any future issues. The unit was a short 10 min walk away from the gondolas and the shuttle picks up right across the street so that was great! The unit itself was nice enough. You could tell it only gets surface cleaned and probably hasn't had a deep clean in some time but it wasn't too bad. The master bathroom tub didn't drain very well so you stood in a few inches of water while you showered. The kitchen was great and stocked perfectly. We couldn't find any sheets for the pullout couch bed so that sucked but we made it work bc one thing the unit has tons of was blankets. The hot tub was great to have but it needs to be cleaned really bad and there aren't any extra towels so you end up useing your shower towels and then have to do laundry bc there aren't that many of those either. Lastly the "high" speed Internet was spotty at best. It was an unsecured wifi so I think the entire resort was using the same one so it took entire minutes to load a webpage. My iPad pretty much didn't work at all. We had a great trip, there were 6 of us and the unit was plenty big!
