What a great place to stay! Form the time of booking with Carolyn until our arrival everything was seamless and exactly as described. We were 6 adults in our party and thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Very well appointed kitchen,(spices, coffee, foil, etc), dishwasher brand new ,with plenty of space to store our own food.Of course the cold weather makes it easy to have another cooling area just outside the door. Having 2 bathrooms with the heated floors makes it smooth getting going in the morning ! Carolyn graciously allowed us to bring Bella ,our little rescue dog and she too enjoyed the trails and comfort of this townhouse. With just a short distance to the ski lifts and an easy trail back to the house we enjoyed full days of skiing and then relaxed in your great hot tub . Absolutely fantastic , can't say enough good things. Will be looking at the calendar for another trip as soon as we can swing it .Thanks very, very much Carolyn ( & other owners). Team Bella

Sun Peaks Winter Weekend

We (6 adults) stayed here for a weekend in January 2016. This place was fantastic - in fact, given the price we paid, it exceeded all of our expectations.

The location is perfect (halfway between the Morrisey Express and the Village Base Area - all easily walkable in winter), the kitchen has everything you need for cooking and the private hot tub just outside is a huge bonus after a day on the hill. It was our first time to Sun Peaks and had such a great time that we will return in future seasons - fully intending to rent this place again.

Lovely home we enjoyed our stay. Kids tried to watch all the videos but failed thank fully. Great hot tub kids and the grown-ups loved that. Small but well kitted out kitchen and we liked the bbq just out side the door. The beds were comfy, sofa bed in sitting room not comfy for sitting. so we sat at the table and played board games instead.

No phone line was a problem for us as we don't have Canadian or US sim cards in the phones so meant we could not cancel a ski lesson when one of the kids was sick, and no phoning for a pizza We just walked to town or went to the unit a friend was useing and asked them to order for us. A tv in the bedroom would have been good.

We would come back, great place.

Great rental property, has everything a guest would need plus a lot of extras. The kitchen is well equipped and its nice to have paper towel, tin foil and saran wrap supplied along with lots of spices...nice little extras. Great views from the hot tub. Great condo with everything you need for a large family gathering. Sit in the living room and look out over the slopes. Easy walk to the village. Ski in/ski out with a short 5 min walk or catch the shuttle bus just outside at the road. Underground garage parking (2 spaces) is at ground level with condo, and spacious ski storage just outside the front door. Hot tub and recliner chair to unwind. Very quiet, and clean. Liked the in floor heating under the tile floors. Everything you could ask for in a family condo!

Our family stayed at Casa amigos for our mid-winter break. The space was very well laid-out and we had everything we needed. This was our first trip to Sun Peaks and we had a great time. The location is within walking distance to the lifts and the village area. My only recommendation (and planning for next time), is to bring more food. The local grocery is very small and good for last minute items you may have forgotten. Great time!

We stayed with four adults and 2 children for four night. The unit has functional social spaces with enough separation between bedrooms that everyone could get space to themselves if needed. Carolynn is fantastic and helpful - she called us ahead of our visit to answer any questions before arrival and she was easy to reach by phone. Unit is well appointed and close to everything at the resort. Only two complaints: -Our clothing picked up a lot of dog hair from the carpets. -Large lazy-boy chair crowds living room - compact furniture could provide more seating and make the room feel bigger.

We loved Casa amigos! It was close to the Morissey chairlift, and within sight of the village. The whole place was very clean, and the heated tile floors were so inviting to cold feet! Free wi fi was a perk I didn't expect. Thank you for a terrific getaway.

Another Great Family day (Alberta) Weekend Visit

This our third year and as the previous two everything was great. The rental was smooth, Carolynn as usual - a great host (that someday we should really meet), location and set up is great (underground parking convenient to front door nice extra). Only short coming (by design not by efforts of rentees) is that when all sleeping areas are used it's to small of living/kitchen/dining space to visit/dine together. It is workable but with ski hill closed at 4:30 lots of evening to spend together. Absolutely perfect for 6 people but starts to strain if you want to have friends/family over. Just want to be an honest, unbiased reviewer. As for Sun Peaks it is a great overall resort for everyone, not just the skiers and boarders. In some ways almost to much because if you go for the skiing no time to enjoy everything else.

No hot tub in the summer, everything else OK

Be warned. There is no hot tub here in the summer and the hot tub is private only in respect that it is not open to the general public. There is no privacy to the hot tub area. There are two other units on either side all sharing one big deck area. Other than that it is a nice place. Comfortable for a family with a few kids or a couple of couples. It is tidy and clean, possibly the addition of a DVD player might be appreciated but it wasn't a concern of ours.

This rental is truly in a good location and just minutes to everything you could possibly want to do for adults as well as children. We loved the well lit streets so we could walk anywhere in the evening also. This place was very well stocked with all the basic necessities required for cooking, entertainment, linens, hot tub as well as childrens games and videos and plenty spacious to accomodate our whole family. This was our first time long stay at Sun Peaks and we would certainly consider being repeat customers.
