Welcome to the Lake Placid Lodge, the perfect ski in ski out location at the base of Whistler's Creekside gondola. A warm and cozy one bedroom suite on the quiet side of the building offering views into the courtyard. Just steps from the private patio you can enjoy the year-round heated outdoor pool, sauna and our luxurious hot tub. A place with its own kitchen and conveniently located laundry facilities. Morning coffee? Groceries? A one minute stroll takes you to Franz's trail, Creekside's new shopping area that offers Starbucks, a grocery store, liquor store and restaurants. Leave your car in our free secured underground parking. The Creekside base also offers full mountain services with ticket sales, a ski school representative, ski rentals and the ski scamps drop off for your young ones. Dusty's, voted as the best apres location in Whistler, is literally where you click your skis off. From there, it is only a two minute walk to the front door of The Lake Placid Lodge. A suite perfect for a family vacation or a romantic escape.

The suite has a very popular location at ground level and facing into the quiet courtyard. Inside is a cozy and efficient open layout leading from the full kitchen to the living room. Off the hallway is the well sized bedroom and a bathroom.

A warm cozy living room offering a comfortable sofa and large chair. The view from the living room faces south looking into the courtyard. The sofa pulls out into a full bed (sleeps two) complete with linen, blankets and pillows.
The natural wood finished dining room suite offers ample room for four. Good quality glassware, cutlery and dinnerware are supplied.
Creekside, where Whistler began, is the local's favorite access to the mountain. Literally where you click off your skis is Dusty's, voted for several years now the most popular apres location at Whistler. Best of all, following Dusty's, you have only a one minute walk home where the hot tub awaits you!
This is a fully equipped one bedroom condo. This is not a hotel room where the kitchen they advertise turns out to be a "mini kitchen" and at check out you are surprised to find an "amenity fee" along with a charge for parking. There are no added fees when you you check in with us.

The Lake Placid Lodge offers one of the best locations in Whistler. A two minute walk takes you to the Creekside gondola or to Franz's trail, Creekside's new car free shopping area. Along with ticket sales the gondola base offers a ski school booking desk, rentals, repairs and guest services. Dusty's, voted several years running the best apres in Whistler is where you click your skiis off.There are at least nine restaurants within easy walking distance. You can choose from quick take out right up to fine dining at the Nita Lake Lodge or the Rim Rock Cafe.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

|Cancellations Made by Guests||Deposit payments are non-refundable. We will refund your money if we can replace your booking; refunds are at the re-booked rate and based on the number of nights re-booked. All cancellation refunds are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.|
|Cancellations Made by Owners||In the event of catastrophic damage to the suite (fire, flood, etc) where the suite is rendered uninhabitable the guest will receive a full refund for any nights unused. Guests are advised to purchase travel insurance to cover their own belongings and re-booking fees.|
|Courtesy Hold Reservations||Reservations are not held without payment. Please confirm your reservation by clicking Reserve Now. Our site takes live reservations 24hrs/7days/week, therefore we operate on a first come/first serve basis.|
|Delayed Arrivals||Sorry, we cannot offer refunds for delayed arrivals. We suggest guests purchase travel insurance. Unforseen circumstances such as road closures, poor driving conditions, delayed flight arrival, etc. will not constitute a refund.|
|Delivery of Instructions and Access Information||Complete arrival/check-in instructions with coded access info will be sent by Allura Direct upon their receiving final payment. Later for last minute reservations.|
|Guest Account Termination||The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site|

Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Cleaning Costs||You will be billed if excessive cleaning is required following your departure.|
|Excessive Noise||There is a no noise policy after 10 PM. You will be evicted without a refund!|
|Garbage Removal||You are responsible for removing all garbage from the suite following your departure. Garbage/recycling bins are located just inside the garage entrance.|
|Housekeeping||Complimentary before arrival but is not offered each day. Daily housekeeping can be arranged at additional cost.|
|Liability||We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property.|
|Locking Door||Please note that the suite entry door does not lock automatically on closing. On leaving you must press the lock button on the key pad.|
|Maintenance Emergencies||Complete emergency contacts are provided in the check-in package.|
|Maximum Sleeping Capacity||4 people overnight. Strictly enforced!|
|Missing Items||Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per my stated damage deposit policies.|
|Noise Restrictions||This is a family complex, please be considerate. Noise will not be tolerated after 10PM.|

Place is as pictured - nice, clean, comfortable. The location is awesome, and feels like ski-in/out with how close it is to the lifts (cross the street, go up the stairs and you're at the Creekside gondola). I am so glad that I decided to stay in Whistler Creekside at the Lake Placid Lodge. The location was easy to find, and once we got there, everything was perfect. Booking the reservation was easy to do via the alluradirect.com website. You know right away what your final payment will be including taxes. You can also use a credit card right over the website. After payment is processed, they send you detailed instructions and directions to the hotel. It is located right off Highway 99. We especially enjoyed having free covered parking, and elevator access from the parking garage to the first floor unit. Once we got into the condo, it was exactly as pictured on the website. No surprises. We also liked the close proximity to the Creekside Gondola. We walked across the street, up a few stairs and the gondola was within a 100 yards or so. Also within close proximity is a grocery and liquor store as well as restaurants. I've always stayed in the Upper Village during previous visits to Whistler. However, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet and convenience of staying at the Lake Placid Lodge in Creekside. I can't wait to plan my next trip to Whistler. This unit at Lake Placid lodge will be at the top of my list for places to stay.

Just a couple of minutes from the Whistler gondola, the supermarket and the airport bus. Quiet at nights, great outdoor hot tub and plenty of room. Great for couples or solos especially those wanting to self-cater.
