Welcome to The Aspens on Blackcomb. This two bedroom apartment looking out over a quiet green space is a wonderful choice for guests who enjoy a fabulous ski in/ski out location, 4 star accommodation, a hotel environment, and excellent value! The convenient location combined with full amenities means there is something for everyone. The layout of this apartment makes it suitable for couples or one to two families.

This apartment has been completely renovated.  Everything is new as of September 2012.

Newly renovated and gorgeous! This apartment was renovated in 2012 to 4 star quality. This is the living room, which faces east onto a green space. Note the trees outside the window. The black leather couch is also a queen sofa bed. To the right of the fireplace is a small desk.

This beautiful new kitchen is fully stocked and everything is new. The kitchen has an eating bar behind the faucet with 3 stools.
The master bedroom. This room has a king size bed, clock with iPod/Phone connection, and a gorgeous ensuite attached to it. Clothes storage is just behind the door, to the right of this photo. Smaller flat screen TV can be seen on the wall in upper left of the photo.
This is the second bedroom, which contains 2 beds: 1 queen and 1 single. There is a small closet for storage in this room. This bedroom has a ceiling fan.
The gorgeous spa ensuite bathroom will be waiting for you at the end of the day. On the right is an open shower with rain shower head and hand held shower head. To the left is a large sit-in soaker tub which also had a hand held shower attachment. The tub easily seats 2 people.

This a spacious, well laid out 2 bedroom apartment.  The main living area comprises the living room with gas fireplace and walk out to the balcony, the dining area and the kitchen.  To the right is the master bedrom with ensuite bath.  To the left is the second bedrom.  The main bath is also to the left and adjacent to second bedroom.  All views from the living area, and both bedrooms look out onto a quiet green space.

Living Area

This lovely living area looks out over a green space with a peek a boo view of the lower slope on Blackcomb Mtn under the Wizard chair.  This room has a gas fireplace, pull out queen sofa bed, and small desk area for a computer or to organize your stuff.  There is seating for 4, and with the addition of dining chairs, the room comfortably seats 6 around the large coffee table.

There is a large flat screen TV over the fireplace.  This TV has an HDMI cable and Apple adapter supplied so you can hook up your mobile device with video to the TV.

There is a balcony off of the living room.

Dining Area

The dining table has a built in extendable leaf to expand the table.  For a smaller table that seats 4 comfortably, the leaf is stored within the table.  To expand the table, undo the fasteners under the table, pull the table apart, and open the leaf stored under the centre of the table.  The large table seats 6 comfortably, and there are 6 dining chairs.  The large table can be set up in the evening for dinner, and then made smaller after the meal to allow more space to move around.

This is one of the largest dining tables available in a 2 bedroom in The Aspens.  You should note that most apartments do not have expandable tables and that tables are generally sized for 4 diners.

The Aspens combines a full choice of amenities with a superb location.


In the winter, The Aspens offers:

  • ski in ski out on Blackcomb Mountain
  • Blackcomb Base in the Upper Village is located just down the hill from The Aspens. Ski or walk down to lift tickets, ski rentals, Blackcomb Kids, shops and restaurants.
  • To ski Whistler Mtn take the Wizard Chair up Blackcomb Mtn, then take the Peak2Peak Gondola to Whistler.



In the summer, The Aspens is a five minute walk into the Village to catch the Whislter gondola for alpine hiking, or take the Wizard Chair to top of Blackcomb Mtn. Walk to Lost Lake and swim in a fresh mountain pond, or walk along the Valley Trail. Short ride down to the bike park.


Restaurants and shops are located in the Upper Village, which is a short stroll down the hill. Continue along from the Upper Village, go over Fitzsimmons Creek and you are in the Village.


For conference attendees, the Whistler Conference Centre is under a 10 minute walk, and the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is just down the hill in the Upper Village.

Cancellations Made by Guests All deposits are non-refundable. There is no refund if your arrival is delayed at the last minute. All refunds are made by personal cheque. Balance Refund Nov 1- Apr 31: Balance is non refundable except if reservation is replaced. Refund equals value of reservation with which the cancelled booking is replaced minus 4% cancellation fee. Balance Refund May 1- Oct 31: The balance is refunded minus 4% cancellation fee with minimum notice of 24 hours.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Emailed when balance paid.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Reservation Changes You may lengthen your stay at no charge. Shortening your stay is considered a partial cancellation and subject to cancellation policy above. Guest Stay Policies

Policy Description
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Ski valet removes and returns ski gear. Stored overnight in secure lock up.
Forgotten Items by Guest There is a $15 charge for returning forgotten items to guests. Guests are responsible for all mailing costs for forgotten items.
Bike Storage Lock up provided in non-secured underground garage.
Amenity Terms of Use Guests are responsible for damage occuring during stay to amenities and common property as a result of guest actions. Guest reservation indicates guests are agreeable to the additional charge of damage to amenities and common property occurring as a result of guest actions.
Check-In Time 4:00 pm. Please request early check-in in advance.
Check-Out Time 10:00 am. Please request late check out in advance.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs If cleaning required is more than the normal 2.5 hours, excess costs will be charged to the guest. Including but not limited to any cleaning needed by restoration services, a plumber, stains, odor, smoking in the unit, or cooking. Any extra cleaning costs to restore the apartment to the same condition as it was upon check in.
Excessive Noise Will not be tolerated out of courtesy to neighbours. If excessive noise is reported, after one warning the guest will be asked to leave without reimbursement.
Housekeeping Complimentary. For reservations of 8 nights or more, full linen change and bathroom cleaned about every fifth day during your stay. The kitchen is to be maintained by the guest.
Liability We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour phone support.

Property Damage Guests assume all financial responsibility for any property damage incurred by you or your guests. While no damage deposit is requested, you are financially responsible for any damage incurred by you or your guests during your stay.

This is a great place to stay. Its very spacious with everything you need and of a high standard. Great balcony, really comfortable beds and well furnished. We loved the pool and hot tubs, staff were great and just a short walk down to the upper village. We stayed here with family who were visiting from the UK and they loved it too. We stayed here for 3 weeks in summer. The Aspens is in a great location in that it's only 5 minute walk from the village; close enough to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet on a night. It has all the basics required for a holiday in Whistler whilst not being too pricey. The accommodation itself is fantastic, very modern and comfortable, good amount of space. Great communication with the owner throughout the whole process. Would definitely stay here again!

I cant say one thing bad about this place! the apartment was amazing, high spec on every appliance and extremely comfy beds and sofas. the en suite has an amazing bath and is huge! only 5 mins walk from the village, pool and hot tubs for use at your leisure. I would definitely stay here again if I were to come back do yourselves a favour and book this apartment

We found 348 The aspens very comfortable, very clean, funky & new and the beds were very comfy, it was pimped out with kitchen gadgets - a great crock pot, a frother for hot chocolate & fancy coffee! The location was perfect, and was quiet, away from the pool & hot tubs. It worked very well for our three teenage kids, the girls shared a queen and our son was happy he got a bed, not the couch! It really suited us. I found the ease of ski in/out and the price made for a perfect family winter getaway. We've been to Whistler many times, this was one of the nicest places we stayed. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!

I stayed in #348 with five friends ~ Jan 18-23, 2013. I highly recommend it for your vacation to Whistler/Blackcomb. The unit has been luxuriously remodeled with granite counters, a spa-like bathroom with lovely tiling, a warm fireplace, and views overlooking trees and grassy lawn. The hot tubs and heated pool are a wonderful retreat after a long ski day (you can ski right to the condo entrance area from BlackComb mtn!. This unit is positioned in a quiet place within the aspens. The condo's bedding arrangements comfortably fit groups of friends or family, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare yummy breakfasts or evening meals. Highly recommended!

We love The aspens. The ski in- ski out location is so convenient. The condo is beautiful with all the comforts of home. We would definitely recommend this unit to our friends and family and hope to stay here again! Thank you so much!

A fun time!

On the whole it was good. It was incredibly hot in the condo so a/C would have been nice and even though fans were provided it was difficult to sleep. The kitchen worked great, bedrooms and bathrooms were good, the furniture was shabby and tired looking and not too comfortable but for the short time we stayed there it didnt matter too much . The location was good, the walk down to the village and back got a bit tiring as the path wasnt a proper one but again, nothing to worry about. I would stay here again but perhaps not in august as it was too hot inside.
