Property Description

Located on the main floor in "The Timbers",  our single level home features a spacious entry, open kitchen, dining and living room area - all offering elegant comfort. Plasma TV/DVD/Games add to the entertainment - and we keep a stock of Scrabble and other board/card games to enjoy at the large dining table or while sipping a hot chocolate at the bar counter or snuggling on the couch in front of the fireplace and watching the skiers or the fireworks outside! The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed, TV/DVD with full ensuite bathroom including steam shower. Access to the private hot tub is off the living-room or a private entrance from the Master Bedroom. Bedroom #2 is beside the main bathroom and features a double bed and a single bed with a lamp and endtable between! (no top-bunk-climbing!) Storage cubes, cozy chair and a large walk-in closet complete the room.   In-suite laundry facilities are located off the foyer. Anti-allergy air-exchange system throughout  - keeping the air fresh and clean. In-floor heating  The view is incredible! The living room faces toward toward Happy Valley ski area and the mountains beyond. From the kitchen and 2nd bedroom you can watch the Gondola pass by - and wave to family/friends heading out!

We are situated in a perfect location for access to ALL resort amenities. Just steps to the Happy Valley Adventure Area and Lodge, the huge outdoor skating area, tube runs and x-country ski trails. A 5-minute ride up the Gondola will take you to the village centre, lifts, restaurants & shopping and Kids Centre. Ski in at day's end over the Skiers Bridge or down Gondola Way.  Non-outdoors people can enjoy watching the action outside from the comfort of a cosy living-room or kitchen chair!  Perfect for bringing senior family members along!

Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Check-In Time 4:00 pm. Occasionally earlier or later arrivals can be accomodated. Please discuss this with us as soon as possible.
Check-Out Time 10:00 am (or earlier). Occasionally a later check-out can be arranged. Please make a request asap after booking.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Standard departure cleaning is complimentary. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.
Excessive Noise Complaints of excessive noise will result in eviction without refund!. Please be considerate of your neighbours
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for garbage removal at the time of departure. Waste disposal & Recycling containers are located on site in the parking garage.
Housekeeping Cleaning after departure is included; Guests staying 8 nights or more may receive a complimentary change of towels and bed sheets if requested. Extra towels and sheets are available on-site for your use as needed. Please leave all used linens in the laundry room for our removal and laundering off-site. THANKS
Internet Availability & Usage Wifi Internet service is included for your convenience. We cannot be held responsible if there is a lack of or quality of service at any time.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Big White Ski Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies 250-861-1379. emergencies only. This is a Kelowna number. For building emergencies contact the number listed at the main entrance of the building.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 7 people. Additional persons will result in immediate eviction
Missing Items Guests authorize credit card charge for replacement of missing items.
Noise Restrictions Quiet time is 11:00pm to 7:00am. Guests may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for any damages resulting form the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area may be used after 11:00pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 11:00pm out of respect for our neighbouring guests.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice, however guests will be notified via e-mail of changes prior to their arrival.
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guests & authorizes up to a $1,000.00 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment you agree to pay us for all damages that you incur. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

Terms of Eviction The following conditions and circumstances will result in eviction from our property: smoking, excessive noise, common and private property damage, pets, more overnight guests than permitted by owner. You will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace.

We stayed in this two bedroom condo on our recent trip to Big White. It was fabulous! The second bedroom had two beds which was ideal for my two boys. The beds were very comfortable. The large living room with beautiful bay windows provided an ideal spot to sip coffee and take in the scenery. The kitchen was well-equipped and was even stocked with a few spices, sugar, pancake mix, etc. The personal touches like homemade cherry jam and board games in the living room made this place feel extra homey. The property is true ski-in, ski-out. We skied right off the run to our door and then skied down to the base of the gondola on our way out. Being next to Happy Valley is great as it is a short walk to the tubing park and skating rink and just a quick gondola ride up to the heart of the Village. We will definitely be back!

February at Big White as a Family of 5

We truly enjoyed staying at this condo with its lovely view and spacious layout. We found the ski in/out location to be very easy with young children who are just learning to ski, and we also loved looking out all of the tall windows at the happy little yellow gondolas passing by. The only improvements that we could suggest would be to consider updating some of the frying pans which were getting past the point of being "non-stick", and the toaster which only works well on one side. But these were very very minor details. Overall we found this condo to be fabulous and would stay again in a heartbeat! Joyce was also wonderful to deal with, very responsive and prompt with communication. Thank you Joyce!

Just Perfect

The location is perfect for a family - our children were able to ski in / out without any trouble (6 & 7 years old). They loved playing outside the condo and as the condo faces Happy Valley, it was easy to keep an eye on them. On bluebird days the view is breathtaking. Access to and from the gondola was an easy walk. Children loved the games room and the gym is handy if you don't get enough time on the slopes. The condo was a great size for a family of 4 and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. Additionally when we had guests for dinner, it was no drama to accommodate the extra people. We found the condo building to be generally quiet and did not have any noise issues after hours from other guests. The hot tub was hot hot hot and we gave it a thorough workout. The guest pantry was a godsend for all the little things you need when cooking but don't necessarily want to purchase as you only need 'a bit'. Our hosts welcomed us with a a basket of homemade snack items and a turkey noodle soup for dinner on our first night - it was perfect and just the antidote for the slightly stressful transit from Australia. Great location and value at Big White

We loved our week-long stay at the Timbers. The location just above the Happy Valley Lodge was so convenient and an easy walk to/from the base of the Gondola. We spent a lot of time at the Happy Valley area for ice skating, horse sleigh ride, and tubing, so the close proximity worked well for us. After time on the slopes, we could ski/board in via Happy Valley Trail or Gondola Way.

The unit itself is clean, well-maintained, well-stocked, and comfortable. The Christmas decorations were up, including a tree! Kids loved making the gingerbread house the owners thoughtfully provided for us. As a family of 4, the 2 bedrooms were perfect and the living room was big enough for all of us to relax in. And we could watch the Saturday night fireworks from the hot tub. We liked that we could see the sunrise as well as the sunset from the unit, giving us natural light during the daylight hours.

As the one who does the laundry, I liked having the washer and dryer (and supplies!) available. And my husband loved the hot tub and steam shower. The heated floors, thermostats, and fireplace made the temperatures comfortable and cozy. I honestly donâ??t think there was anything more we could have wanted, well, aside from a heated toilet seat, but who puts that in a rental unit?

All our emails to the owners were promptly returned and they were just so sweet in allowing an early check-in and making us feel like we were staying at a friendâ??s home. We canâ??t wait to go back!

This was our second time in this unit. All the comforts of home, and then some. So relaxing and inviting, can't wait to stay again. Owners are very approachable and accommodating. Location can't be beat. Great memories for our family. Just the ideal getaway.

Such a fantastic experience, the location was the best on the mountain, right beside the gondola, Snow right outside the door. The owners were very accommodating, even left the Christmas tree up for the new year, the condo was exceptional. Hot tub was very inviting after a day of skiing. Will be back again one day soon from Australia :)

We loved our stay at Timbers 1**. The ease and convenience of direct ski in/out was wonderful. Being able to walk down to the Gondola to go in to the village made the apartment very close to everything. The apartment was clean, tidy and comfortable. We really felt at home as it was so comfortable. We loved being able to come in after a day of skiing and hopping in our private hot tub and being able to watch the fireworks on a Saturday night!

The apartment is well laid out with views to the Gondola and Happy Valley, there was always something to see whilst still having your own privacy. We had an issue with the freezer during our stay and the owners were on to it straight away and very apologetic about the inconvenience. The apartment is well stocked with the more than the basics that you need for cooking etc, the bathrooms had a great supply of shampoo, conditioner, soaps and body moisturisers, something I wasn't expecting. :)

We have stayed in a few different places in Big White and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank You Brinkerhoff Family for providing a wonderful place to stay, your hospitality and the great chocolate chips cookies as we left!

The location cannot be beat and the condo itself is fabulous. Plenty of room for our family with a well stocked kitchen and a huge hot tub. The host is very responsive and friendly and ready to answer any questions. Highly recommend!

This is in my opinion not only the best located building but the best located unit in the building. Great views Quick walk out the door to gondola, skating, tubing, trails. Don't worry that your not in the village centre this location is even better and the village is a few minute gondola ride away and the gondola is free. Ski in out location too of course and perfect for little groms!

The owners are extremely accommodating which enabled us a lovely and magical stay. The condo was decorated for Christmas making us feel even more festive sipping the hot chocolate and candy canes left by the owners. Great location- ski directly to the gondola but also allowed us an easy walk carrying our 4 month down and up the hill. Our 3 year old daughter was even able to make her first snowman right out the window! Thank you again for all those beautiful memories!

Comfortable stay

Stayed 5 nights at unit 1** Timber of Big White resort. The owners were helpful and easily contactable prior to our arrival. The condo is clean and in good condition. The Kitchen is well stocked, the only small issue is that some of the pans are not in great condition. The building is close to Lara's Gondola and Happy Valley day lodge. The Gondola would take you to the village and you can ski back into the building. It's just as well that the place is so comfortable, it was foggy every single day we were there with soggy snow, almost not worth going out at times
