SKI OUT right from our unit (located here on the ground floor) via East Village Ski Way to the Morrisey Express where you can purchase ski lift tickets.

SKI IN to our unit via Fair Dinkum, crossing the 16th fairway, down the left side of the fairway and turning left just before the last Stone's Throw building.

To SKI IN - take Fair Dinkum ski run (on top left), taking a ski path through the trees, crossing the 16th fairway, down along the left side of the fairway, turning left just before the last Stone's Throw building.

Great year round rates for up to 7 people. All rates in Canadian Dollars.  Bookings for dates before April 1, 2013 are subject to 12% HST tax.  Bookings for dates after April 1, 2013 are subject to 5% HST tax. No other taxes apply.  Property Description

Our ground floor corner unit, which is all one level, is extremely accessable!  You'll have absolutely no stairs to climb from the baggage drop area, which literally just steps from the front door, and within the unit. The front porch is flanked by a private lockable ski storage on the left and a lockable bicycle storage on the right. The front door leads into the spacious main foyer with heated tiles and a coat rack.

The open concept kitchen to the dining and living areas is perfect for entertaining. The fully equipped kitchen has granite counter tops and heated floors. The dining room can seat six at the dining table and three more at the kitchen counter. The living room is graced with a beautiful fireplace, a comfortable pull out sofa and a love seat and has access to the private deck/hot tub area.

Your own personal retreat, the master bedroom has a full ensuite with heated tiles, queen bed and is accessible to the private deck/hot tub. The second bedroom has a queen/twin bunk and has a full bath with heated tiles across the hall.

Enjoy your sleep on the restwell pillows topping an extremely comfortable queen bed with cozy down feather comforters. This lovely room includes its own TV/DVD, has two ample closets and has a sliding door to the outdoor hot tub.

Stay comfortable sleeping on the deluxe sofa bed with spring mattress.

2nd Bedroom

The queen/single bunk offers that extra bed without compromising space. The beds are covered with cozy down feather comforters.This room includes its own TV and a large closet.

Kitchen

The fully equiped kitchen offers, granite countertops, heated tiles, ultra quiet dishwasher, icemaker in fridge , a food blender, a Hawaiian rice cooker, all the pots, pans and utensils needed to cook your favorite gourmet dinner. The amenities are endless. All you need to bring is your favorite food and beverage.

Living Area

Enjoy the calming flame from the gas fireplace, the sectional pullout sofa and floating chair creates a relaxing environment . Open concept design offers space for the whole gang.  Amenities also include a flat screen TV, DVD player and Stereo cassette/CD player.

Dining Area

Gather around the dinning area, the rustic wood table and granite bar in total seats nine, makes entertaining a breeze.

This home is located in a award winning new developement called Stones Throw in the East Village. The professionally designed interior with stone milled tiles and granite counter tops offers a exquisite yet relaxing ambiance.  This corner unit is located on the ground floor with easy access.  It is located adjacent to the loading and unloading area so is extremely convenient when packing and unpacking your car when checking in and out of the unit, or just coming home from a great day of skiing. There's absolutely no stairs to climb inside or outside the unit!  Just come up the porch, place your skiis or biking gear in your large private storage locker, and you're home... ready to relax in front of the gas fireplace or lounge in the large deluxe hot tub located on your private deck!!!

24 HR Emergency Maintenance. 

A FREE SCHUTTLE BUS SERVICE is provided (during the main ski season).  It runs from the Burfield Lodge to the Sun Peaks Village to Parking Lot 5 (via the Village Drive) back to the Village and Burfield Lodge.  It makes stops along Village Drive (which the road just outside our unit) in both directions to pick up any passengers who waves down the schuttle.  Just walk along the 'pathway' (which is just outside our front door) onto Village Drive and wave down the schuttle which usually comes by 25 minutes and 55 minutes after the hour.  Go to www.sunpeaksresort.com to get the bus schedule.

Ski In to Unit - Take Sundance Express to Rambler to East Village Ski Way to Fair Dinkum. At the end of Fair Dinkum continue straight to ski path between the trees crossing the 16th fairway. Veer right along the left side of the16th fairway, bordering the Stones Throw complex. Turn left just before the last Stones Throw Buiding and enter our unit complex.

Ski out from Unit - Walk on the pathway (which is just outside our front door), cross Village Drive and ski onto East Village Ski Way to Morrisey Lift. Ski lift tickets are sold there.

 About Us

We were born, raised and live in Hawaii.  While we do enjoy the sand, surf and sun, we also enjoy winter sports, especially skiing!  We've been skiing since the mid 1970's and our three children grew up looking forward to their Christmas and Spring breaks so they could go skiing or snow boarding.  We've been to ski resorts in Michigan, California, Utah, Colorado, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia.  When we first arrived at Sun Peaks in 2005, we were very impressed with the snow quality, the reasonable prices, the lack of crowds, the relaxed pace, the cozy village, the friendliness of the people and the fact that the altitude won't kill you.

We feel extremely blessed to have purchased our unit at Stone's Throw.  This is really a home away from home for us and we would like you to feel that it's also your second home.  We would like to extend our hospitality to you and we have tried to place amenties and deocrate our home to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
