Our ground floor corner unit, which is all one level, is extremely accessable! You'll have absolutely no stairs to climb from the baggage drop area, which literally just steps from the front door, and within the unit. The front porch is flanked by a private lockable ski storage on the left and a lockable bicycle storage on the right. The front door leads into the spacious main foyer, an ample closet and a coat rack.
The open concept kitchen leads to the dining and living areas and is perfect for entertaining. Granite counter tops outline the fully equipped kitchen. The dining room can seat six at the dining table and three more at the kitchen counter. The living room is graced with a beautiful fireplace, a comfortable pull out sofa and a love seat and has access to the private deck/hot tub area.
Your own personal retreat, the master bedroom has a full ensuite bath, queen bed, two convenient closets and is accessible to the private deck/hot tub. The second bedroom has a queen/twin bunk, a very spacious closet and has a full bath across the hall.
A large washer and dryer is in the laundry room which is located just off the kitchen.

24 HR Emergency Maintenance.
A FREE SCHUTTLE BUS SERVICE is provided (during the main ski season). It runs from the Burfield Lodge to the Sun Peaks Village to Parking Lot 5 (via the Village Drive) back to the Village and Burfield Lodge. It makes stops along Village Drive (which the road just outside our unit) in both directions to pick up any passengers who waves down the schuttle. Just walk along the 'pathway' (which is just outside our front door) onto Village Drive and wave down the schuttle which usually comes by 25 minutes and 55 minutes after the hour. |Excessive Noise||Excessive noise which disturbs others in the building between the hours of 10:30pm and 8:00am is prohibited according to strictly enforced strata bylaws. You will get evicted without a refund!|
|Housekeeping||Upon arrival and departure.|
|Liability||We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Sun Peaks Ski Resort.|

|Maximum Sleeping Capacity||Maximum number of 7 overnight guests for nightly stays. Strictly enforced. Eviction without a refund for parties of 8 people or more for nightly stays.|

|Noise Restrictions||Excessive noise from the hot tub area is not permitted after 10 pm. Occupants may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for damages resulting from the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area can be used after 10 pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 11 pm out of respect for our neighboring families.|

|Property Damage||We reserve the right, at our discretion, to collect a $500 property damage deposit prior to arrival. We were born, raised and live in Hawaii. While we do enjoy the sand, surf and sun, we also enjoy winter sports, especially skiing! We've been skiing since the mid 1970's and our three children grew up looking forward to their Christmas and Spring breaks so they could go skiing or snow boarding. We've been to ski resorts in Michigan, California, Utah, Colorado, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. When we first arrived at Sun Peaks in 2005, we were very impressed with the snow quality, the reasonable prices, the lack of crowds, the relaxed pace, the cozy village, the friendliness of the people and the fact that the altitude won't kill you.
We feel extremely blessed to have purchased our unit at Stone's Throw. This is really a home away from home for us and we would like you to feel that it's also your second home. We would like to extend our hospitality to you and we have tried to place amenties and deocrate our home to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Please enjoy!

Great place for small get together of friends or family. Would definitely booked this place again. Had the essentials in case you forget something ie. Coffee cooking oil seran wrap. Couldn't get the fireplace or heated tiles in bathroom to work but I'm sure a quick phone call would have fixed that.View Full Review

Lovely, warm condo in quiet location, approx. 15mins walk into the village. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Probably a little tight when fully occupied, but perfect for four guests. Great hot tub overlooking a small car park, but the snow provides privacy :)Ski in right to the door when there is enough snow and ski out across the road - love it. We rented this property through allura Direct who are generally very good, however their system for returning your bond is terrible. They take the money up front through their website and then the owner has to return the bond to you... In our case we paid using a aU$credit card which we pay exchange to Ca$ and now will receive money in us$ as the owners live in Hawaii. Not the owners fault at all, but we will have to foot the bill to cash an overseas cheque or wire transfer and loose out financially. We are unlikely to use this agent again due to this system. Please note the owners of this property have no say over this system.

We have stayed in many condos at Sun Peaks and this one was on par with the rest. Nice, clean accommodation with pretty much everything you need. Liked that it had two bathrooms and a hot tub. If you want privacy, be aware that this condo is on the ground floor and right beside the loading area; but it is rarely used, so not really an issue and because it's on the ground floor, it's very accessible. Stone's Throw is down by the Morrisey chair, so a little far from the village, but definitely walkable ( unless it's -24 like when we were there!). On the plus side, it's very quiet.

Our family of 3 stayed 6 nights at this lovely condo. We walked across the road to ski out and ski in was around the corner of the building. Underfloor kitchen heating worked intermittently; bathroom underfloor heating didn't work at all, but the unit was very cosy and comfortable overall. Lovely property manager. Some bigger (pasta / soup) bowls and a crockpot would improve self catering facilities. Damage deposit returned promptly by owners.

Our family of four stayed 3 nights on a stop-over before a long drive to alaska. Everything described about the unit was true, and it was even better than expected. It was clean and comfortable, plus the location was perfect. We skied in and out with no problems, and that was great for taking a lunch break, then back to the mountain. My wife does not ski, but did walk to the spa for a massage, so everyone was happy! The hot tub was great at the end of the day, then movie time while cooking dinner, then a great night's sleep before repeating the next day.

The room was excellent and very quiet, also the hot tub felt great after a hard day of skiing. A bit of a walk to the shopping area, but not a big concern. The check-in was kind of confusing to get into the garages. Plan to go back to this resort and condos next year with more family and friends.

One of the nicest condo units in all of Sun Peaks. Well appointed suite that is modern and well designed. Spacious master bedroom, huge en-suite with soaker tub and shower is a parental bonus. The hot tub was a nice treat to cap off the day after careening down washboard mtn bike trails. The complex was whisper quiet at night and family friendly. My teens loved the upgrade from our typical cramped hotel room style and are begging to go back. The only issue we had was the access codes had been changed for the parking garage from what we were provided in the welcome email. Fortunately a friendly neighbour helped us out and we were good to go. Highly recommended.

We rented this place with two children under two and it was quite good. The furniture in the living area does not fit brilliantly but the kitchen is good and the beds great. The complex is a fair walk from town and is difficult to do with kids but there is a lit path.

This is a nice place. Found it to be a bit far from the village,had we wanted to go to the village we would have driven and would not exactly call it ski in/ski out. Not sure if we missed it but couldn't find a trail to the complex from the runs, ended up having to walk down the road. Ski out...had to haul our stuff across the road first, but easy access from there to the Morrisey lift. If skiing Morrisey walking back from the bottom of Morrisey lift was easier than making your way back to the main hill and skiing back from there. Nice property though and being an end unit was good. Not really anyplace to hang wet ski clothes to dry out (hooks or something in the entryway would be a good addition). Parking spots small so if you have a big truck it would be a tight fit in the underground parking. Overall, a good experience.

The only critic we had is that the t.v. in the lounge should not be in the cabinet. The doors did not open sufficiently for viewing. If you wanted to watch t.v. you had to sit at the dining room table. The t.v. could just be either on the wall, or on a free standing table.

Everything was great, although the ski in ski out was a bit of a stretch, not what we were used to at Big White. One complaint we had was that there was inadequate lighting in the condo, especially right above the kitchen table. Couldn't really play any games or read at the table.
