Spacious tiled entry for ski boots and sundry items, leading to living area or bedroom. Open floor plan for living/dining and kitchen. Lovely full bathroom off entry/living room. Large sofa in the living area, with a comfy high end hide-a-bed. Dining area for four. Separate bedroom with large ensuite. The two large washrooms are great to have when four adults are preparing for skiing! Floor to ceiling windows across the entire width of the unit. Faces the lifts. Sunny south exposure. Beautiful views all year round.

Living Area

Bright and sunny with wrap around windows looking onto the ski runs. If you don't ski, you can still enjoy the ambience from inside. Watch all the action outside. In summer, look out onto the pedestrian promenade. Sofa and chairs provide plenty of seating.

Table and chairs for four in the living area, situated directly in front of the windows. Study the view while you enjoy your morning toast.

Special Features

The location is THE BEST in Whistler. Le Chamois is located right at Blackcomb base. No need for a car. You can walk to everything. It is a slope-free (no hills) walk into the village centre, which is very nice for families, young and old. If you arrive by bus, there is a free shuttle bus from the bus loop that drops you off at Le Chamois. The bus takes skis, snowboards, luggage, golf clubs and baby strollers. Once you are at our unit, you can walk to everything, summer or winter. Because it is in the Upper Village where most of the activity ends when the skiing stops, it is very quiet for sleeping. No nightclubs nearby. But, if your pleasure is night-time action, a 5 minute walk gets you there and you never have to worry about "drinking & driving". You will enjoy the quiet luxury of our suite decorated with warm contemporary refinement.

What a wonderful, charming property for our 3 day stay in the Whistler area. The location could not be better- just step outside and you are at the Backcomb lifts and walk 5 minutes the other way and you are in the North Village. The area is very quiet and secure. The views of the mountains from both the bedroom and the living room are spectacular. The entire unit is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The living room is so cozy, with a fireplace for those cool evenings. I would definitely stay here again upon returning to the area. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Such a fantastic condo! Perfect walking distance to both Blackcomb and Whistler Villages. The condo faces the Blackcomb hill with stunning views and truly embraces the ski-in-ski-out motto.

The condo is small but has absolutely everything you need and beautiful finishes. Had wonderful sleeps in the comfy bed and the living room sofa folds out into a equally comfortable bed. The free underground parking was a great bonus and the staff at the front desk are friendly/helpful.

Would definitely stay again when traveling to the Whistler area! Would highly recommend!

Amazing Vacation

My daughter and I recently stayed over the May long weekend for a dance competition. The unit was exactly as pictured. The fridge is huge and the dish washer so quiet. We had everything we needed and wanted in the unit while we were there. It was very nice to have the parking included. Diane was responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

The check in was quick and pleasant. They responded to an e-mail regarding early check in and late check out very quickly and was able to accomodate our request. This was over a long weekend and we were so happy with the quietness of the unit as well as the hotel. Friends staying elsewhere had to deal with some loud partiers, we had absolutely none of that and slept great! The market was fun and had a lot of variety of vendors. Awesome people watching spot!

Being located in the upper village was nice. Only a short walk to everything needed and a ton of additional restaurants and stores in the lower village area.

The only 2 items I would mention was
1. It would have been nice to have a card to access the building from the mountain side so we did not have to walk around the building to the front late at night
2. The pool/hot tub were supposed to be closed for Maintenance From April 19 (?) to May 19th. It was still closed when we arrived on the 20th and remained closed while we were there for the weekend. This in no way reflects on Diane or Unit itself. It was not within her or the managements control, just one of those things that happens with maintenance sometimes.

I would love to stay again and plan to make this our first place to check on for availabiliy on a future trips to Whistler.

Great, updated condo with a fabulous view

The condo was fantastic. It was updated, modern and had everything we needed. It was very clean but a little dusty (dust doesn't bother me - just wanted to mention it). The upper village was the quiet location I wanted but not as many eating options as I thought. Being close to the base of the lift was wonderful for convenience and for people watching. We also enjoyed the Farmer's Market on Sunday.

Some of the documentation in Check-In package should be updated as it no longer applied (there is a keypad not a card - not sure how I would have accessed the build after hours, some of the local restaurant recommendations are no longer there).

One thing to note is that you can't actually checkout until 9am. We were hoping to get on the road earlier but the property management office wasn't open. The check-in info had the hours of the office so it was nobody's fault but mine for not making arrangements to check out earlier. It's just something to be aware of when making travel plans.

Diane was very accommodating when I had to make some adjustments on my rental due to some unforeseen circumstances. I would definitely recommend the rental and working with Diane.
