Welcome to your "Home away from Home"! Our Condo is located in Whistler Creek which means you are located at the best place to access Whistler Mountain. You can walk to the lifts in a couple of minutes (literally) from our well appointed suite in Lake Placid Lodge. To relax after a day of skiing, biking or hiking on the mountain, Lake Placid Lodge has an all year heated outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and change room. Restaurants and shops are located steps from the Lodge in the exciting Whistler Creek development. Property Description

Through careful planning our unit seems much larger than it is.  Lake Placid Lodge is your home away from home therefore you will be delighted to find so many extras. As soon as you walk in the door you will be impressed with the home like atmosphere. We have many people who keep coming back.

The kitchen consists of full size appliances including fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven and stove.  Also included are a coffee maker, toaster, blender, pots and pans, plus necessary glassware and eating/cooking utensils.

Living Area

Very comfortable living room with large hide-a-bed couch, arm chair, window bench seat, gas fireplace, TV & blu-ray player, and Bose Wave music system. Balcony off of the living room that overlooks the courtyard and part of the mountain.

Dining Area

Dining area table that seats four comfortably. Excellent area for playing board games or cards (well lit). Also dimmer switch for more intimate dining.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Full refund 30 days prior before arrival. Cancellation 14 days, 50% refund. No refund within 48hrs of arrival. All cancellations will be subject to an additional 4% cancellation fee.

Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We regret that we cannot be responsible for delayed arrivals.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Complete resort information, arrival/check-in instructions with coded access info will be sent upon final payment .
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site

Check-Out Time 11am strictly enforced
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise You will get evicted without a refund!
Garbage Removal There is a large garbage bin and recycling bins located in the underground parking garage. Please take your garbage and recycling to this area prior to departure.
Housekeeping Our suite should be clean and tidy upon your arrival. Midstay cleaning can be provided for a fee if we're notified in advance of your arrival.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location on the common property.
Locking Door The door to the suite does not lock automatically when you close the door. Please ensure that you turn the latch upon departing.
Maintenance Emergencies Complete emergency contacts provided upon final payment .
Maximum Sleeping Capacity Four . There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and a sofabed in the living room.
Missing Items KEYS: $100 will be charged for any key that is missing. Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per our stated damage deposit policies. The common area key must be left on the kitchen counter upon check-out and one key left in the lockbox at the front of the building.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice.
Property Damage Guests authorize up to $500 CAD charge on their credit card upon departure in the event of any property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges,lost or broken or missing common or private property items,smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.
Rental Accommodation Zoning
Terms of Eviction Smoking, excessive noise, presence of pets, threat of common or private property damage, or disturbing the peace, will result in eviction.

Guarantees Policies

My Web Site Guarantee guarantee that We will honour all rates posted on our web site at the time that your reservation request is submitted. If any amenity changes after you have confirmed your booking with payment, We will notify you in advance and give you an opportunity to cancel with a full refund.
Reservation Guarantee Property Sale/Damage-We relocate you to a comparable property. If there are any rate increases associated with the move, we will contribute up to $100 CAD per night towards rate equalization. If we fail to successfully relocate you, you will receive a full refund. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products

Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 days in this condo....very cozy and great location with stores and restaurants just across the street. Beautiful 1 hour walk from this condo to Whistler Village. Condo is very well stocked and it was a delight to be here. Definitely would come back again!

Fantastic. Really loved the personal touches and comforts of home. Excellent artwork Carolyn! This was a perfect location. Very close to Whistler Village but just far enough away to feel quiet and private. Really appreciated the convenience of little stores available just across the street. We will be back for sure!!

Very nice, cozy condo in a quiet location. Appears to be recently renovated with very nice finishings and pretty well stocked kitchen. Owners were very easy to deal with and accommodated me with a late checkout. The Lake Placid Lodge complex is also nice, with an excellent outdoor pool and hot tub. The complex also has BBQs making it easy and convenient to cook in should you wish to do so.

Only complaint was the cable TV didn't have a comprehensive suite of channels (there did not appear to be a subscription to the sports channels). However, it's Whistler and I wasn't there to spend my time indoors watching TV so wasn't a big deal.

Overall I would be happy to stay here again.

This is our third stay in the same unit. Love it. Clean, tastefully decorated, fabulous location. The owners are always responsive and friendly. The unit is great for a couple or small family. We tend to eat out, so don't use the kitchen, but appears to have all that would be needed to do some light cooking.

My only issue is that on 2 of my 3 visits, the sauna has been out of order. This isn't a show-stopper for me, but it is an inconvenience, especially as I chose the accommodation partially based on having a working hot tub and sauna. But apart from that, no complaints.

We will definitely consider again for a future trip.

We quite enjoyed our stay.Proximity to all the assets that Creekside has to offer is tough to beat. The unit was neat, cozy and very comfortable for a couple. Particularly appreciated was the dark, quiet bedroom. My wife generally has a disputed sleep pattern, but slept soundly in #2**. I expect we'll be back!

We have stayed in other places in Creekside and Lake Placid lodge and by far this is the nicest and cleanest place we have stayed. It was the perfect size for my family of three and it is located on the quiet side of the building which is such a bonus.

Carolyn was always quick and easy to communicate with. We are booked to go again in two weeks and I am very happy with our choice. I highly recommend.

Carolyn was very quick to respond to my inquiries. The place looked out of a magazine, felt right at home, and the bed was comfortable.Cab ride into village was about $15/one way but that's what you would spend on parking anyways! I would absolutely stay here again!

A very well stocked condo (coffee, tea, sugar etc). In suite laundry was great with laundry soap. Towels were nice and plush. Bedding clean and new. As per another reviewer - I knew to bring my own dish sponge (no big deal considering how well stocked the suite was).

I will definitely return & suggest this lovely spot to family and friends. I can't wait to come back. Thank you!!

What a great clean condo. newly renovated/listed. Carolyn was great to communicate with, always quick to respond, and super nice! the condo itself was beautiful and clean. The bedroom had ample pillow choices (check the closet!) for the pullout and bed. The kitchen had a good amount of supplies to work with when making meals, just some reccomendations would be sugar for tea/coffee, Saran Wrap, and a quieter fan. Will be back!!!!

We were very pleased with the quality of stay this property had to offer. Although it is a small unit, it had nice fresh and bright decor and provided great space division (bedroom vs living room); both beds (queen bed in the bedroom and pull out sofa in the living room) were firm (to our taste!) so we were waking up completely rested. I found the kitchen to be very functional, the only thing I was missing was a sponge for dishes. All other supplies were in adequate quantities which made me feel like at home. Set of good quality front load washer and dryer was used twice by us. We couldn't figure out how bedroom TV works (we followed instructions kindly left by the owner but still could not get Telus cable box engaged), but it was not a big deal as WiFi worked perfectly. Overall, we were very happy with this reservation and gladly recommend to our friends / book in the future.

This property is immaculately clean, the instructions were very clear, the parking was included, the internet was fast, and it was absolutely silent at night so I was able to sleep well. This is a great value compared to the hotels, especially. Great location as well - right next to the Creekside Goldola.

If you don't want to stay in the busier Village district, this condo in Creekside area is a good alternative as you are close to restaurants, bike trails and the lift in the winter. Condo has been nicely remodelled, has all the basics in the kitchen, Bose system, and gets sun during the day. Quiet and private outlook.

I have stayed in a number of the apartments in Lake Placid Lodge and this one is up there with the best if not the best so far. I liked the privacy, the fact that it is on the quieter side of the building and the laundry facilities within the apartment.
